Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to become a vital part of our expanding construction team. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of various construction projects while adhering to established budgets, timelines, and scopes. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and advance within our organization.

Location and Travel:
This role requires 100% travel, with primary responsibilities at project sites. After the current project, the position may transition to other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager throughout all project phases to ensure successful outcomes from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate and oversee project tasks and deliverables, ensuring compliance with established standards and specifications.
  • Continuously monitor project progress and provide detailed reports on measurable items, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality assurance, to drive project success.
  • Uphold strict safety standards and foster a culture of safety awareness within the team.
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to provide support, identify challenges, develop solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, addressing issues as they arise and escalating when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, timelines, schedules, and budgets.
  • Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in construction management software.
  • Familiarity with project management software is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety codes in the construction industry.
