Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lab Tech to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory technology and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests and procedures following established policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide laboratory services appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Experience in phlebotomy is a must.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to perform mathematical calculations are required.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to use sound judgment to ensure quality of patient care.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal, effective reading and comprehension skills.
  • Meditech experience is a plus.
  • Degree in Medical Technology or a related biological science and ASCP certification as an MLT or MT/MLS are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more and follow proper body mechanics is necessary.

Work Schedule:
The shift will be primarily evenings (2pm - 10:30pm), with rotating weekends and on-call hours.

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
  • Minimum guaranteed hours: 40.
