This position entails budget formulation, financial reporting, and compliance oversight, ensuring alignment with federal and sponsor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the award lifecycle for a collection of direct awards.
  • Maintain and organize data within business systems and filing structures.
  • Project, monitor, and reconcile awards utilizing financial systems.
  • Conduct monthly account reviews, tracking expenditures and allocations.
  • Prepare and evaluate financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify inconsistencies and execute necessary budget modifications.
  • Collaborate with program personnel on proposals and financial operations.
  • Contribute to data tracking and reporting for statistical analysis and trends.
  • Ensure adherence to sponsor requirements during proposal creation.
  • Engage in meetings, training sessions, and committees to influence organizational policies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience (or 3 years with a Master's degree).
  • Advanced expertise in budget formulation and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software for reporting purposes.
  • Intermediate understanding of government award regulations and OMB Uniform Guidance.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Capacity to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with proposal submission platforms and management systems.
