Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at AllSTEM Connections. As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and ownership to document control processes and training throughout the product life cycle, including development, sustaining and end-of-life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and ensuring consistent and accurate configuration control in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and will become the configuration management subject matter expert for our MRP/ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and ownership to document control processes and training throughout the product life cycle.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate configuration control in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Develop and maintain item masters and bill of materials for hardware and software products within an MRP/ERP system.
  • Manage complex hardware/software product configurations.
  • Lead process development and improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment managing and maintaining item masters and bill of materials for hardware and software products within an MRP/ERP system.
  • Relevant Change Management experience managing complex hardware/software product configurations.
  • Experience Leading process development and improvement efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • ERP System experience highly desired. SAP S4 Hana preferred.
