Your Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and inviting welcome to ensure a memorable guest experience.
- Recognize and acknowledge returning guests and loyalty program members, both in person and over the phone.
- Manage guest reservations, promote upgrades, and inform guests about ways to enhance their stay.
- Process cash and credit transactions efficiently.
- Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, including verifying IDs, issuing room keys, and managing safety deposit boxes.
- Anticipate guest needs by recording preferences and addressing requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for guests, assisting with billing issues and providing local information as needed.
- Maintain safety protocols by reporting incidents and utilizing necessary protective equipment.
- Present a professional appearance and embody the brand's values as an ambassador.
- Stay informed about daily events and activities to assist guests effectively.
- Assist colleagues with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests regarding their concerns and feedback.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to transform challenges into positive experiences.
- Fluency in the local language; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in reading, writing, basic mathematics, and computer usage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a front desk or guest service role is preferred.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg), which may involve bending and kneeling.
