Job Details

Position Overview
Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Radiation Dosimetrist to join our team. As a Radiation Dosimetrist, you will be responsible for performing basic calibration and quality assurance testing, determining radiation dosimetry parameters, and calculating radiation dose distribution for patients undergoing treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic calibration and quality assurance testing to ensure radiation equipment is functioning properly
  • Determine radiation dosimetry parameters for treatment units, simulators, and brachytherapy radiation sources
  • Calculate radiation dose distribution for patients undergoing treatment, taking into account individual patient needs and treatment plans
  • Monitor and measure dose delivered to selected patients to ensure accurate treatment
  • Maintain standards for radiation dosimetry systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
