Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design project teams and create world-class designs for various projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design project teams to create world-class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments.
  • Adapt electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors, or client needs.
  • Prepare electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
  • Review electrical equipment vendor drawings, data interface with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in project schedule, scope, budget, staffing planning, and construction planning.
  • Manage change orders effectively.
  • Apply expert knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures.
  • Develop non-standard design solutions for complex projects.
  • Quality review production drawings and project-related data.
  • Lead field inspections, installation, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients.
  • Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, customers, and contractors.
  • Participate in sales and marketing efforts and identify key pursuits.
  • Develop cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve financial targets.
  • Prepare and present project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Report project performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the electrical engineering practice.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
  • Ensure QA/QC process adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
  • Comply with company and site safety policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 7 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • EPC project experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
