Key Responsibilities- Assist the Teacher in planning and implementing classroom instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide individualized support to students, promoting social skills, daily living skills, and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with the Teacher to establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging positive behavior and social interactions.
- Assist with the assessment and development of individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive targeted support and accommodations.
- Monitor student progress, tracking behavior and academic performance to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and families.
- A passion for working with individuals with autism and disabilities, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
