Government Solutions Acquisition Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Government Solutions Acquisition Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT solutions, Federal markets, and capture management.

About the Role:

This is a key role within our organization, and success will lead to a senior leadership position. The Government Solutions Acquisition Manager will be responsible for directing and managing business capture activities, ensuring budget and growth expectations are met for our division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop plans for securing knowledge and understanding of customer requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases.
  • Lead planning sessions with core teams to strategize on win themes aligned with customer critical needs.
  • Coordinate meetings with customers, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field. Minimum 8 years of related experience required.

Experience in supporting civilian and military customers and delivering technical solutions to the government. Understanding of U.S. Government procurement and the acquisition process.

What We Look For:

Leadership skills to develop, organize, and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans. Proven track record of successful capture management in multiple Federal markets across Agency organizations and program offices in the IT arena. Ability to work through others, get results from teams that do not report directly, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
