Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at our Preston, WA warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and record-keeping duties.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections on forklift equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Manage product consolidation and rotation in the warehouse, adhering to First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.
  • Stack products safely and precisely, following established standards.
  • Perform cycle counts, inbound receipts, and outbound sales orders using a radio frequency (RF) scanner.
  • Follow dock safety procedures and ensure loads are secured when in use.
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping standards by keeping work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counting and ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of forklift driving experience, with warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to accommodate overtime and work other shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of $22/hour, plus shift differential for hours worked outside of 1st shift.
  • Discretionary bonus potential of up to $450 bi-annually, based on plant and company profitability.
  • Four days a week, with core hours of Monday - Friday, 3:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Rotating day off during the work week, with weekends off (Saturday & Sunday).
