Job Summary

The Research and Development Technologist plays a crucial role in coordinating and executing product development activities for assigned initiatives. This includes designing and executing experimentation, interpreting results, and translating them into possible solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, bakery science, or a related field, with a proven track record of innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute experimentation using established procedures
  • Interpret results and translate them into possible solutions
  • Contribute to key product improvements, cost reductions, and new product development
  • Evaluate new ingredients, materials, and processes
  • Describe and demonstrate research results to colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of technical food industry experience, preferably in bakery/R&D/quality areas
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
