Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice RN, you will provide high-quality patient care, manage pain and symptoms, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide pain and symptom management, as well as emotional support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Supervise Hospice Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours care

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of application
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Medicare Skilled Nursing experience preferred
  • 1-year RN experience in a hospice setting preferred
