Aveanna Healthcare Clinical Manager Job Description

At Aveanna Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our dynamic home health care team. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to our clinical staff, ensuring that services are delivered according to licensing guidelines, professional medical standards, and agency policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and manage clinical programs, services, and employees to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assist with the oversight of the agency's growth and operational management.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and assist with the operational and financial management of the agency.
  • Investigate and take appropriate actions on client complaints.
  • Participate in the recruiting, hiring, and identifying training needs of clinical staff.
  • Evaluate programs and services regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct regular client home visits to ensure quality of care.
  • Ensure client compliance with federal/state regulations through policy and procedure administration to staff.
  • Supervise all clinical staff and perform annual employee evaluations.
  • Manage caseload as needed for client coverage.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
  • Obtain and maintain active CPR per agency policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years RN experience in a healthcare setting (home health or hospice).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Medicare Skilled Nursing experience and a basic understanding of OASIS.
