Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise fieldwork for remediation and industrial maintenance projects, ensuring efficient and safe project completion.
- Lead labor forces, including foremen, equipment operators, hazardous waste technicians, and emergency response crews, to maintain safety standards and project success.
- Accurately complete all job-specific paperwork, including timesheets, daily work reports, driver logs, and safety meeting forms.
- Enforce compliance with project scope, contract documents, schedules, and corporate policies.
- Collaborate with managers to forecast and allocate personnel, equipment, and materials in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure crew members adhere to safety protocols during project execution.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
- Safely operate vehicles and perform required safety checks.
- Be prepared for out-of-town travel for project work, which may require extended stays of two weeks or more.
- Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions and environments, including extreme heat, cold, hazardous chemicals, and heights.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience supervising remediation and/or industrial maintenance projects.
- Additional experience in emergency response, manual labor, general construction, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
- Valid Class "D" Driver's License required.
- TWIC certification preferred.
- Must obtain OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certifications within the first 30 days of employment.
- Must pass pre-employment background checks, substance screening, and ongoing verifications.
