A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A YOUTH CARE PROFESSIONAL
As a Youth Counselor, you will deliver direct therapeutic support to the youth in our programs, adhering to comprehensive wellness plans. Your empathy and understanding will promote open communication, while your patience ensures you are always available to listen. Despite the challenges, you will find fulfillment in assisting those in need and making a positive difference in their lives.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A YOUTH CARE PROFESSIONAL
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require a bachelor's degree or a minimum of five years of experience in mental health or human services)
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is advantageous for certain positions
WORK SCHEDULE
Our program operates 24/7, offering various shift options, including:
  • Evening Youth Counselor - 1 pm to 11 pm (Full Time) / 7 pm to 11 pm (Part Time)
  • Day Youth Counselor - 1 pm to 11 pm / 11 am to 11 pm (Full Time)
  • Substitute Youth Counselor - 60 hours per month (Part Time)
  • Morning Youth Counselor - 7 am to 9 am (Part Time)
