Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services to individuals with various physical and musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret physician referrals and conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and modalities to promote patient recovery and functional improvement.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide regular updates to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and squat throughout the workday. The Physical Therapist must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, lift and carry up to 40 pounds at waist height, and push/pull with 30 pounds of force. The position also requires repetitive use of hands, fine manipulation, and exposure to electrical and chemical hazards.
