Job Summary

The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs.

This role participates in various Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs.

A Physical Therapist II demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in program development, staff education, student supervision.

Additionally, this role demonstrates emerging leadership skills and mentors department staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care and treatment programs
  • Participate in Rehabilitation Services department activities to enhance patient care and programs
  • Demonstrate advanced evaluation and treatment skills
  • Involved in program development, staff education, student supervision
  • Demonstrate emerging leadership skills and mentor department staff
Requirements

A minimum of two years of clinical Therapist experience meeting requirements of Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment.

Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.

Must be proficient at all PT level 1 competencies, maintain productivity level, and have the potential to take on additional responsibilities.

May require clinical expertise in specific discipline.

WI state license as a Physical Therapist is required.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.

RN/OT/PT/SLP preferred.
