Project Manager Job Description

LaSalle Network is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building out the company's product portfolio management and Stage Gate systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and define how PLM connects to and supports business transformations
  • Manage project workflows, ensuring all aspects are aligned with the project goals and timelines
  • Act as the primary liaison between various teams involved in product launch through end-of-life stages
  • Create and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution
  • Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress
  • Utilize and manage PPM tools such as SAP PLM, Planview or Planisware to support project management activities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management within the CPG industry, with a strong understanding of PLM
  • Experience with PPM tools like SAP PLM, Planview or Planisware
  • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus
  • Ability to think critically and develop strategic solutions
  • Strong team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

This is a contract opportunity, lasting for at least one year, with an hourly rate of $50-60. The candidate must be willing to come onsite in Chicago 3 days every week.
