Tax Advisor

Job Summary:
As a Block Advisors Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and small businesses navigate complex tax and business service needs. You will build strong relationships with clients, providing expert tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning services year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and audit support, helping clients navigate complex tax situations.
- Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention, offering additional products and services as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, completing continuing education requirements and meeting all IRS and applicable state requirements.
Requirements:
- 5 years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns and tax planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
