This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the State of North Carolina as a Deputy Clerk in the Clerk of Superior Court office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the court, ensuring the smooth operation of court proceedings, and providing excellent customer service to the public.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the court, including preparing and processing court documents, maintaining court records, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
- Courtroom Support: Assist the court in the preparation and maintenance of court records, including preparing and processing court documents, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to the public, including answering questions, providing information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with court staff, attorneys, and the public, both verbally and in writing.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and perform other organizational tasks as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 18 years of age, and preferably experience working in a courthouse or law office.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
