Job Summary

Murata Americas is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing market share and sales in targeted markets by identifying high-potential accounts and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expansion in assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal partners to drive business results.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth at new, target, and focus accounts within the responsible territory.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or marketing in electronics-related or other technical industries.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a hunter's mentality to close business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, along with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a strong ability to present information to all types of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent years of relevant work experience in an electronic-related or other technical industry.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing sales, sales data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of marketing, market planning, and knowledge of the consumer electronic industries.

Travel Requirements

Frequent local and domestic travel is required for this role.
