Job SummaryWe are seeking a Seventh Grade Math Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to a group of seventh-grade scholars. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and will be committed to providing a high-quality education to our scholars.
Key Responsibilities- Teach mathematics to a group of seventh-grade scholars
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Current Colorado teaching license with relevant grade/ content endorsement
- Experience teaching mathematics to middle school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum two years of teaching experience
- Experience with progress monitoring and data analysis
- Knowledge of culturally responsive instruction and critical pedagogical framework
