Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Multimatic. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production floor, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production associates to ensure that production goals are met.
Conduct daily 6-S audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Utilize SAP schedule and customer forecasts to perform daily production scheduling and ensure schedule attainment.
Lead and direct production associates in their assigned areas on a daily basis.
Manage hold areas and ensure timely disposition of product.
Lead meetings with production associates to discuss established objectives and how to make improvements in these areas.
Review OEE information on a daily basis and ensure accuracy in the raw data.
Communicate effectively with production associates, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that production goals are met.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One year or more automotive manufacturing experience.
Prior leadership and/or technical experience would benefit this individual.
Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.
Ability to write effective correspondence.
Ability to write work instructions and set up procedures.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to lead corrective action or continuous improvement teams.
Effectively represent the company professionally to customers, suppliers, and other associates within the organization.

Working Conditions

The associate is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to feel or handle objects, tools, or controls; reach and lift with hands and arms; talk, see, and hear. The associate is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is required to rotate their torso and view behind them to operate required equipment. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The associate must be available to work scheduled overtime and assist in emergency situations. The associate must have the flexibility to work various shift hours.
