Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to join our team at Sterling Engineering Inc. in Franklin, WI.

About the Role:

This is a Contract to Hire opportunity for a motivated individual with high voltage electrical experience or relevant educational training and understanding of electrical principles. As a Test Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our client's products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute assembly and testing procedures for electrical power products.
  • Assemble and thoroughly test products and provide feedback to the engineering team.
  • Conduct testing at timing stations and run switches through the operations station.
  • Perform mechanical work, including disconnect assemblies.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of high voltage electrical experience, or equivalent education and training.
  • Familiarity with 420 volts / 3-phase systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and working from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.
