Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Overview: At LER TechForce, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing and executing test plans.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will analyze requirements, design documents, and business objectives to prioritize test activities for each iteration; perform new functionality, regression, and verification testing on test bench, HIL, and vehicle; investigate issues using issue data collection and analysis, and troubleshoot issues and alert users; confirm that new software features integrate to tool to meet functionality requirements; prepare user guide documentation on calibration tools (CDM, CANape, CANalyzer); train end-users on tool operation, enhancements, and applications; provide technical support, guidance, and collaboration for all tool software implementation for testing environments (test bench, HIL, and vehicle); develop tests to ensure quality, functionality, and safety of software using manual and automated test platforms; develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts; ensure process compliance and configuration management; participate in Test Readiness Reviews to report issues to developers and improve performance of developed tools; perform data analysis and generate test reports.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, electronics engineering, information technology, or related field. Must have any amount of training, work experience, academic experience, or coursework in embedded systems and operating environments; SAE J or ISO analysis; engine diagnostic and calibration tools (CANape, CANanlyzer, or Motohawk); HIL systems and CAN communications analysis; MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, or Test Stand.
