Position Summary

The Mechanical Alignment Specialist is responsible for executing mechanical repairs, part replacements, and general maintenance on vehicles. This role emphasizes delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service to both internal and external clients. A commitment to customer satisfaction is essential, along with the flexibility to adapt to changing job priorities based on customer needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out appropriate repairs.
  • Interpret OSHA regulations, parts manuals, and repair documentation.
  • Utilize hydraulic jacks and lifts, along with air tools and heavy handheld equipment.
  • Remove and replace tire assemblies on vehicles.
  • Document all work performed clearly on work orders and invoices.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize provided safety equipment, reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Review service orders for completeness before submission to management.
  • Ensure all products are accompanied by the necessary documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized service area.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods. Employees must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 100 pounds and occasionally up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception. The work environment may involve exposure to various weather conditions and moderate noise levels.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and operational manuals.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license; state inspection and/or alignment certification may be required.
  • Proficient in operating diagnostic tools and service equipment.
  • Uniforms are provided and must be maintained in a professional manner.
