Cyber Security Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at Generis Tek Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sustainment work for cybersecurity solutions for industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technologies (OT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned cybersecurity mitigations and maintain solutions to compliance-related problems
  • Execute and maintain plans and procedures to ensure cybersecurity compliance for operational technologies
  • Collaborate with Information Technology (IT), Business Relationship Management (BRM), and internal compliance groups to remediate cybersecurity risks
  • Support in-depth security architecture and maintain a strong understanding of networks to ensure adequate defense in depth design
  • Stay current on industry trends and security requirements in the gas pipeline industry
  • Support an incident management team, bringing skills to respond to security events in line with incident response playbooks for operational technology
  • Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities and participate in improvement initiatives of internal cybersecurity processes, procedures, and standards

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline
  • 2 years of Information related experience
  • Experience in Cybersecurity Operations
  • Experience in Industrial Control Systems and/or Operational Technology
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks
