Echocardiographer - Diagnostic Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at Williamson Health, a renowned healthcare system in Franklin, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality echocardiography services and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a strong background in echocardiography, with proficiency in performing TEE studies, stress echo studies, and the use of contrast. A degree/certificate from an accredited Echocardiography program and BLS certification are required. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate emotional stability and psychological health in day-to-day interactions with colleagues, patients, and physicians.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality echocardiography procedures on patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Recognize abnormal studies and report them appropriately, understanding the proper use of Definity.
- Assist cardiologists during TEEs and cardioversions, demonstrating leadership and teamwork in challenging situations.
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees to ensure that all requests from physicians and patients are completed.
- Volunteer for overtime and fill-in shifts when needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Earned a degree/certificate from an accredited Echocardiography program.
- Registered or registry eligible in Echocardiography.
- Proficient in performing TEE studies, stress echo studies, and the use of contrast.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Our competitive salary package includes a base salary of $80,000 per year, with opportunities for overtime pay.
