Job Summary:

This position provides clinical nursing support to Williamson Health Medical Group by scheduling tests, obtaining specimens, and maintaining clinical supplies. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or degree and at least one year of experience in a medical office environment, with a focus on patient communication and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling tests and consultations
  • Obtaining clinical specimens
  • Maintaining clinical supplies
  • Communicating with patients and businesses
  • Assisting physicians with med/surg procedures
  • Counseling patients on health-related issues
  • Ordering and maintaining pharmaceuticals
  • Securing consultations and specialists
  • Triage phone calls and patient portal messages
  • Obtaining prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing

Requirements:

  • Nursing diploma or degree
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office environment
  • Competence in using glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, stethoscope, audio scope, business phone, and various oral and injectable medications
