Responsibilities:- Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, ensuring that our solutions meet the customer's needs.
- Sales calls: Be the main technical resource on sales calls, providing expert guidance on features, specifications, and functionality to customers and partners.
- Post-sales: Serve as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, working closely with our technical support team and engineering to resolve customer technical issues.
- Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training, ensuring they have the necessary skills to get the most out of our solutions.
- 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
- 5-7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
- Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree favorable.
- Competitive salary range: $200,000 - $240,000 per year.
