We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Systems Technician to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining low-voltage security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and communication systems.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain low-voltage security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and communication systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools.
- Inspect electrical and security systems to identify necessary repairs and recommend preventative maintenance.
- Review work orders and provide daily updates to scheduling coordinators and customers.
- Communicate with customers and team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- At least 3+ years of experience installing voice and data systems.
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and provide two professional references.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Must adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Must be able to see colors/knowledge of color codes.
- A well-developed knowledge of common low-voltage technology.
