Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development of RF systems, including AESA, digital beam forming, and analog beam forming systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hardware development of RF systems, including AESA, digital beam forming, and analog beam forming systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures to calibrate multiple communication systems in RF Anechoic chambers.
  • Work with engineering fellows to design RF architectures that meet customer system requirements.
  • Act as Control Account Manager (CAM), owning the RF team's budget and schedule for a given project.
  • Lead laboratory integration of hardware, software, and firmware, and demonstrate to customers.
  • Complete Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) block diagrams, component identification, circuit simulation, schematic capture, board layout, and fab in Altium, HFSS, Spice, Geneys, HyperLynx, and Visio.
  • Work with facilities to relocate mmWave Anechoic test chambers and expand test capability to Ka-band.
  • Manage suppliers through PWB fabrication, CCA assembly, and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely completion of Purchase Orders.
  • Manage other engineers and technicians in the lab.
  • Perform make vs buy analysis for optimal solutions.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, plus a minimum of five years related experience, or a master's degree with three years of experience.
  • Experience in RF design, laboratory testing, AESA, digital beam forming, analog beam forming, antenna measurements, and implementing firmware to adjust RF performance.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use personal computer software such as MATLAB and Altium.
  • Mental ability to perform engineering problem-solving and analytical tasks.
  • Must be able to work under project deadlines and associated cost and schedule constraints.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Existing Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one.
