The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Design Engineer to join our RF Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing the RF subsystem for our StreamCaster MANET product line.

This is a full-time position, 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, at our office located in Rancho Bernardo, North San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop antenna to baseband RF subsystems using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs.
  • Implement or supervise schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Characterize, tune, and troubleshoot RF performance.
  • Ensure overall system design meets EMI performance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot RF-related production yield problems.
  • Improve design for manufacturability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-GHz RF hardware development.
  • Hands-on experience with solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues.
  • Strong familiarity with RF simulation tools (i.e., AWR Microwave Office, Altium).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent bench skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and a firm commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Compensation

The pay range is $130,000—$190,000 USD, based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
