Job Description

The Laboratory Assistant I will be responsible for performing various laboratory support procedures, including phlebotomy and specimen processing. This role will work closely with our clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely test results.

Key Duties

  • Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages
  • Oversee urine specimen collection and receipt
  • Prepare and transport specimens for testing
  • Coordinate patient requisitions and results between hospital and clients
  • Process patient specimens, including centrifugation and separation

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Completion of a phlebotomy training program (preferred)
  • National Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)

Compensation: $48,000 - $65,000 per year
