Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Existing Customer Base
    • Manage an existing sustained customer base with a minimum sustained territory size of $10 million up to $20 million.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth.
  • Generate New Sales
    • Generate a minimum of 15% new profitable sales each fiscal year.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Focus on Growth
    • Spends at least 50% of time focusing on growth through new & existing customers via new and existing products.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage Time and Territory
    • Manage time and territory in conjunction with manager on a bi-weekly basis.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Travel Requirements
    • Travel within the territory of Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan is required.
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma required. Four-year college degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
    • 3 to 5 years of sales/relationship management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Customer Focused. Experience responding to customers and investigates with assistance from others as needed.
    • Strong goal and results orientation.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Aware of costs and assists in controlling costs related to own work.
    • Knowledge of product offerings, product functionality, and applications.
    • Proficient knowledge of markets and pricing practices/policies.
