- Mentor junior engineers in process-related and technical subjects.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
- Direct experience with thermal analysis and electronic packaging is essential.
- Understanding of hardware and manufacturing methods is required.
- Proficiency with thermal analysis tools is necessary.
- Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer, and its application in electronics cooling, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), unless prohibited by local laws/regulations, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience with thermodynamics and heat transfer, and its application in electronics cooling.
- Experience with thermal analysis tools.
- Experience with environmental testing equipment, procedures, and qualification activities (e.g., RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-810G).
- Experience with the design and manufacturing processes of CCAs, metal housings, and sheet metal.
- Experience with thermal management for electromechanical designs.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
