Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Windham, NH. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience working with elementary and/or high school-aged students and possess a strong understanding of speech and language development. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills of preschool-aged children.
  • Create personalized therapy plans to address speech and language delays or disorders.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, promoting effective communication and participation in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies to facilitate language-rich environments and promote communication skills development.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field of speech pathology.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP license in NH.
  • A minimum of 1 year of speech therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare.
  • CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of state health regulations.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and excellent communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $60-$65 per hour.
