Production Manager Job Description

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at a rapidly growing Food Service Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Oversight: Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and develop production staff; schedule shifts and manage labor costs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations; address and resolve any quality issues.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained and functioning; coordinate repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align production schedules and address any issues.
  • Reporting: Track production metrics, prepare reports, and analyze performance data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Compliance: Ensure all production practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:
