Job Summary

The Director of Accounting/Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta Inc. This role requires a strong background in accounting, finance, and leadership to manage various aspects of our organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, administer accounts payable and receivable, campaign accounting records, grant transactions, and annual budget setup and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate time reporting and payroll processing, reconcile agency benefit plans with remittances, serve as liaison to BBBS of America for financial reporting and compliance with standards.
  • Recommend process improvements for accounting and finance functions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant accounting experience in non-profit or corporate environment, with at least 1-2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll systems.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience with Accufund, Sage Intacct Accounting/Finance, Concur, and Ramp expense management systems.
About the Opportunity

This is a hybrid role that reports to our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
