About the Role:
The Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) is a key member of the nursing leadership team at the Nemours Foundation. This role is responsible for collaborating with the Nurse Manager in all aspects of operational and administrative support of nursing associates and expanding nursing leadership presence in the practice area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Provide daily clinical and operational supervision in partnership with the Nurse Manager.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current professional practice standards, laws, and regulations that affect the care of children and families.
- Contribute to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate the management of patient care.
- Contribute to nursing and pediatric healthcare through the application of evidence-based practice.
- Adhere to budgetary plans.
- Assist the Nurse Manager in providing a professional work environment.
- Provide and supervise care guided by the Professional Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Active Delaware or compact nursing license required.
- Three or more years of experience.
