Robert Half is hiring a Tax Registration Analyst to assist a transportation company. This role is 100% remote and based in Miami, FL.


Responsibilities:

• Update tax registries for each state, including corporate tax, sales tax, payroll tax, insurance, and employment insurance.

• Address and fix issues related to incorrect registered addresses, either online or by mail.

• Update associated emails for the registries due to turnover.

• Work closely with the tax team to understand technical details and ensure accurate registrations.

• Utilize various accounting software systems for processing and documentation.

• Handle customer service inquiries related to tax registration.

• Conduct auditing and compliance checks regularly.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all activities and actions taken.

• Adapt to the different registration procedures depending on city, state, and county.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.


This role requires skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Compliance, Customer Service, and Documentation.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services.
• Experience with BlackLine is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Proven experience in Auditing.
• Demonstrated adherence to Compliance regulations.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Strong Documentation abilities.
