We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients referred by the Pain Clinic with chronic pain and other pain-related concerns, requiring short-term behavioral interventions.
  • Co-facilitate group medical visits (psychoeducation and treatment) for pain management.
  • Conduct spinal cord stimulator and other procedural evaluations for patients awaiting medical procedures.
  • Utilize screening measures to monitor progress and outcomes to assess benefits of treatment.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals as well as patients to design specific goals for brief treatment.

Requirements
  • Minimum - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or related field.
  • Minimum - One (1) year of postdoctoral supervised clinical experience.
  • Preferred - One (1) year of clinical experience or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health Psychology in a medical setting.
  • Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in Wisconsin.
  • CPR/BLS.
