Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to understand their network requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure equipment, including switches, routers, wireless, and security appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements
  • Manage the installation of network infrastructure equipment at client sites
  • Identify and escalate cross-selling opportunities
  • Establish rapport and trust with key client decision-makers
  • Meet with prospective clients to evaluate their network needs and provide recommendations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet products and network infrastructure technologies
  • Fortinet NSE 4 (Network Security Professional) or higher certification required; NSE 5, NSE 6, or NSE 7 certifications highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with external clients and stakeholders
