Job Summary: We seek a highly skilled and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. This role requires assisting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, ensuring complete care of their dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Redirect behaviors through various activities, including walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.
  • Assist clients with bathroom needs.
  • Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
  • Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and DSP 1 certification.
  • 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors.
  • A valid in-state driver's license, over 21, current registration, and insurance with a driving record of no more than 2 points within the last 3 years.
