Job Title: Staff Nurse ICU Medical Part Time

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-specific policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN.
  • Basic Life Support Training.
  • Infection Control Training.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing Required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
  • Cardiac or ICU experience as an RN is preferred.
