In this role, you will:
- Oversee and deliver comprehensive care to patients through systematic assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Assume a leadership role by delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their qualifications and job descriptions.
- Engage in fulfilling the mission and objectives of the healthcare facility, thereby enhancing community health outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Our Medical/Surgical Unit caters to:

  • Orthopedic recovery patients, including those undergoing total knee, hip, and shoulder surgeries
  • Patients with generalized fractures and tendon/ligament repairs
  • Individuals recovering from spinal and neck surgeries, urological procedures, ENT surgeries, and hernia repairs
  • Medical overflow cases
Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Active nursing license in the state of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification to be obtained within one month of hire.
Work Schedule:
0.75 FTE
Shift Details:
Day/Night Rotation
Shift Start Times:
0700 and 1900
Shift End Times:
1930 and 0730
Compensation:
$57.72 per hour

The stated pay range reflects base compensation; however, the actual offer will consider the complete compensation and benefits package, influenced by the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

Weekend Requirements:
Every third weekend
