About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgical Customer Support Specialist to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our Instrument Management Services division, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our customers in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train customers in proper care and handling of surgical instruments and devices to reduce or limit the need for repairs and ensure equipment is Procedure Ready.
  • Meet with customers to understand challenges and present solutions, recognizing changes in instrument repair needs and identifying possible root causes.
  • Be proactive in identifying issues before problems occur, developing a process for improvement, and ensuring implementation.
  • Lead Proactive Maintenance Inspections for equipment, including Flexible Endoscopes and Surgical Devices.
  • Record maintenance services, daily cost savings, and potential barriers to implementation.
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing Certification preferred.
  • 4 years of related experience, ideally in a clinical environment, with a basic understanding of surgical instruments and medical devices.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing experience and training is preferred.
