Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Operations Manager to join our Safety, Security, and Resilience team. This critical role will play a key part in preparing Intuitive for emergencies and disasters, ensuring the company's preparedness and response capabilities are top-notch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to enhance overall safety, security, and emergency response capabilities.
  • Act as the Coordinator for the regional Incident Response Team and Operations Chief during emergencies, coordinating activities with site incident managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training programs for the Emergency Management program.
  • Establish training for the emergency response team, conduct building evacuation drill training, and create a process to document training records for ISO standards and audits.
  • Facilitate post-incident response reviews (After Action Reports) and partner with affected teams and site leadership to ensure timely deployment of improvement opportunities across the site.
Requirements
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Operational understanding and working knowledge of computer proficiency (Word, Excel, internet, etc.).
  • Strong speaking and presenting skills in front of groups.
  • Project management, change management, and planning experience.
  • Solid understanding of the Incident/Emergency Command System.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-focused perspective.
  • Minimum of 5 years of emergency management or public safety experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management or work experience equivalent in a corporate and/or manufacturing setting.
  • ICS 300 and ICS 400 and IS 100, IS 200, IS 700 certifications.
Working Conditions
  • 30% Travel Required.
  • Make reasonable judgments during high-stress emergency events.
