Job Description

The Operations Manager at All-Stat Portable is responsible for overseeing daily operations and supervising staff across various modalities. This role involves meeting productivity standards, taking ownership of operations success, and ensuring proper staff coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, direct, and coordinate territory operations.
  2. Review and implement changes to improve staff and workflow efficiency.
  3. Monitor staff equipment and vehicle performance, addressing any issues that arise.
  4. Provide consistent support, guidance, and motivation to staff through regular communication.
  5. Act as a liaison between company staff and executive management.
  6. Support staff in troubleshooting and resolving technical, patient, or professional issues.
  7. Orientate new employees on job requirements, policies, and work procedures.
  8. Interview and source qualified job applicants, maintaining proper staffing levels.
  9. Counsel employees on unsatisfactory performance and work behavior.
  10. Oversee staff retention, monitoring and counseling employees at risk of leaving.
  11. Provide support by performing exams as needed to maintain service levels.
  12. Maintain and review time-off work and work schedules to ensure proper staff coverage.
  13. Maintain and review time records, submitting them to HR for payroll processing.
  14. Work with operation department managers to coordinate daily workflow.
  15. Provide regular staff meetings and interactions.
  16. Offer training to regional teams on All-Stat policies and procedures, as well as applicable modalities.
  17. Maintain proper documentation and procedures for staff radiation dosimetry reporting and distribution.
  18. Provide ongoing education and support to staff to ensure high-quality service.
  19. Maintain inventory levels for radiology staff and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  20. Manage salaries and wages, including overtime, within budget constraints.
  21. Visit clients with account executives or alone, demonstrating client support and maintaining relationships.
  22. Address, resolve, and document customer service concerns, following up with senior management.
  23. Distribute, retain records of, and ensure compliance with new and ongoing policies and procedures.
  24. Work with territory account executives and senior management to monitor exam response times and quality, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
  25. Present company services and introduce new service lines through in-service, QA, and client meetings as needed.
  26. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care.
Requirements
  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  2. Strong computer and software skills.
  3. Possess a high degree of initiative, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
  4. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  5. Strong leadership, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  8. Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
  9. Effective managerial and leadership abilities as applied to operations management.
  10. Experience developing goals and objectives and establishing priorities.
  11. Proven leadership, planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  12. Exercises good judgement and ability to act decisively at the right time.
  13. Effective analytical ability and organizational skills with attention to detail and prioritization.
  14. Hunter mentality required to build, grow, and develop assigned territory.
  15. 3-5 years of experience in a long-term acute care setting, skilled nursing, or mobile environment preferred but not required.
Education Requirements
  1. Current state licensures in either radiography or sonography preferred but not required.
  2. Current ARRT registration and/or ARDMS, preferred but not required.
  3. Bachelor's degree preferred. Associates degree required.
  4. Graduate from an approved accredited program in radiography or sonography, preferred but not required.
