Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Capstone Mining. This is a key role that requires a strong background in carpentry and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance duties to support all site facilities, including carpentry, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Work in a team environment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks, with a focus on zero harm and adherence to Capstone's Values.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external groups to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with Pinto Valley Mine standard operating procedures and MSHA standards.
  • Participate in line out meetings and safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of safety, including Lock Out – Tag Out – Test Out (LOTOTO), Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Environmental Concerns.
  • Ability to work in a shop and field environment, with knowledge of construction blueprints and the ability to lay out based on blueprints.
  • Ability to plan project materials and tools, with skills in concrete, carpentry, and building facility maintenance.
  • Knowledge of workshop hand and power tools, with ability to work with transit, builder level, and laser levels.
  • Ability to install drywall tape, texture, and paint, and build and set various styles of form systems.
Work Environment

This role will be based in a mine setting, with indoor and outdoor work required in all weather conditions.
